Eleven athletes qualify for 2024 State Track Meet

PAWNEE CITY - The excitement of a beautiful day and a chance to “punch a ticket” to the State Track Meet was evident on all of our area track athletes’ faces last Wednesday, May 8th as they competed in the Class D-1 District Meet at Pawnee City.

PAWNEE CITY - The Fairview Golf Club held their League competition on Thursday night, May 9th with nine golfers in attendance. Results were: Gary Ruegge, 1st, net 26; twoway tie for 2nd place between Pat Hulsebusch and Colt Johnson each with a net 32.

PAWNEE CITY - The Fairview Golf Club held their League competition on Thursday night, May 2nd with thirteen golfers in attendance. Results were: Pat Hulsebusch, 1st, net 33; Dan Sunneberg, 2nd, net 35; three-way tie for 3rd place between Jeff Nider and Todd Bowhay each with a 36.

Stormy weather disrupts Pioneer Conference finish

PAWNEE CITY - The weather didn’t cooperate for the running of the 2024 Pioneer Conference Track Meet which was held on Saturday, April 27th at the Pawnee City track. The storms rolled in late in the afternoon and prevented some of the final events from being completed.

Tracksters brave blustery conditions at Mudecas

TECUMSEH - All three of our area track teams competed in the blustery, cold conditions at the 2024 Mudecas Track Meet which was held at Tecumseh on Saturday, April 20th. This was by far the biggest track meet our area athletes have ever competed in with over fifteen teams competing for team honors and to medal in the top 8 spots of each event.
