Titans crowned JCC Invitational Champions

The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer/Pawnee City traveled to the Johnson County Central Thunderbird Invite on Saturday, December 20th and came home with a tournament Championship with a score of 120. The next closest
team was Freeman with 108. Jacob Wilhelm (120); Nick Novak (132) and Ben Railsback (160) all wob gold medals in their respective weight divisions. All results are as follows.

Tigers miss too many shots in loss to CVA

The Lewiston Tigers had their looks at the bucket, but just couldn't get the shots to fall against College View Academy on Saturday, December 13th as they lost 25-37. The Tigers got down 3-11 in the first quarter and didn't score their first points until Ryan Husa drove the lane for two at the 3:30 mark

Late steals and scores boost Lady Tigers to victory

The Lewiston Lady Tigers relied on late pressure   and quick buckets to pick up their first win of the season on Saturday night, December 13th against the College View Academy Lady  Eagles. The first two quarters were low
scoring as Lewiston got on the board first on a rebound and putback by Cydney Howell..

P.C. struggles in scoring against D/O

PAWNEE CITY - The basket seemed to have a lid on it for the Pawnee City Indians on Thursday, December 4th as they hosted Diller/Odell in front of a Parent's Night crowd. The Indians were held to just 21 points in the 21-36 loss to the Griffins in their season home opener.

HTRS/P.C. wrestlers have busy start to year

ADAMS - CONESTOGA - The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer/ Pawnee City wrestling team started  their season at the Freeman Duals on Thursday, December 4th and had stellar performances from several wrestlers. Both Ben Railsback (160 lbs.) and Jesse Hickey (170 lbs.) went 5-0 in individual competition for the Titan varsity. HTRS/P.C.'s Nick Novak also had a winning record at 132 lbs. going 3-2 for the day

Borcher, Hanlin Earn Academic Honor

Two members of the Doane football team were named today to the Capital One Academic All-District 3 team for their achievements both  on the field and in the classroom. Linebacker Garrett Borcher (JR/ Pawnee City, Neb.) and defensive lineman Aaron Hanlin (SO/Pierce, Neb.) were on the 25-player squad chosen by the district’s sports information director members.

Pawnee City, Lewiston take court against Friend in Tiger triangular

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Lady Tigers hosted a final regular season triangular on Tuesday night, October 28th against the Pawnee City Lady Indians and the Friend Lady Bulldogs in front of a Parent's Night crowd. Lewiston vs. Friend Lewiston played against a very talented Class D-1 Friend team in the first game of the triangular, but lost to the Lady Bulldogs in two sets, 13- 25, 18-25.

Lewiston goes 1-1 in Pioneer Conference Tournament

JOHNSON - The Lewiston Lady Tigers entered the 2014 Pioneer Conference Volleyball Tournament as the #9 seed, but pulled out a win over #10 Wymore Southern. Lewiston vs. Sterling Lewiston faced #8 Sterling on
Monday, October 20th and lost in two close sets, 18-25, 22-25.
