Jon Bailey retires as Pawnee County Assessor Friday. He has been Assessor for 22 years.
The Pawnee County Board of Commissioners will appoint someone to fill the vacancy.
He said the people of the County were enjoyable to work for. He said you get to meet a lot of people and it has always been great talking to them.
Assessors are required by state law to visit and review property every six years at lā¦
