Every year about this time we have an Irish-themed story for the readers as we approach St. Patrick’s Day. Last year I did it on Sean McAhon’s family, this year I’m doing it on a film I watched, “Belfast.”
This is from writer-director Kenneth Branagh, who calls this film his most personal one. It is about his boyhood during the Troubles, 1969 in Northern Ireland.
