The Pawnee City city council was pleasantly surprise at their regular meeting on May 27th. Two area businesses, Alphia and Martin Marietta, told the council that they are interested in more community service ideas.
Last year Marin Marietta employees helped assemble the new playground equipment at the north park. This year they plan to dig more holes for the flag poles for the Avenue of Flags.
