A game, played at this field in Table Rock, won by the Table Rock Steinauer football team vs Falls City Sacred Heart in 1995 was one for the history books.
The ball field in Table Rock is now owned by the Village. It was once the home of Table Rock School’s football and track teams. For many years the town baseball and soft games were also played there. In 1995 when Table Rock Steinauer, who had an undefeated season, played Falls City Sacred Heart also undefeated, the small field was crowded with an estimaed 1,000+ fans. Table Rock Steinauer went on to the win that game in double overtime. Score: 34 to 28.
