Martin Marietta donates labor for playground installation
It was a warm sultry day
First part of the installation was to dig holes and place the poles which support the equipment. The Martin Marietta crew helped dig the holes and put up the poles
After the poles where placed everyone chipped in the help assemble the equipment. The new park equipment should be ready for play on July 19.
On Tuesday of this week Pete Binder added concrete with the help of Spencer Cumley, Lucas Barloon (hidden) and a very hands-on city council member, Susan Eisenhauer.
There is new playground equipment at North Park in Pawnee City.
On July 12, the City Crew, Council member Susan Eisenhauer, Bob Kremer, an installation supervisor from Game Time, and 14 volunteers from Martin Marietta installed the new equipment. It is for 2–5-year-old age group. It took roughly seven hours to erect the basic structure.
