Opening day for rifle season was Saturday, November 12th. As of Monday, November 14th there were almost 250 deer checked into the Little Brown Jug in Pawnee City and 271 checked into Den’s Country Meats in Table Rock. Tana Hanna made the remark, “we are just about on point with where we were at last year with numbers.”
