Roy and Linda Nider began the grocery business in 1971 in Clay Center, Kan. They have had stores in Axtell, Kan., Herrington, Kan., Onega, Kan., Tecumseh, Neb., and Pawnee City. The Pawnee City store was once a Farmer’s Union Coop grocery store. The Nider’s bought it in 1978 from Eileen and Willis Price.
