The Pawnee County Fair Parade featured a host of people bent on having a good time. If you ever wanted to see a commissioner in a hotdog suit you should have been there. Dennis Schaardt and his helpers from Den’s Country Meats passed out jerky while dressed in hot dog costumes. They provided the necessary humor to keep us going in the heat.
