In this 1941 picture by Arvid Blecha you see the skylight of the opera house with the original water tower of 1922 beyond. On the cross brace of the water tower, difficult to see but there, the siren and the old fire bell. The siren was later moved to the old fire hall, and the bell placed at ground level in its present location.
