Work has started in downtown Pawnee City where John and Cindy DeFreece are building a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment on the second floor of one of their buildings. It is 23 steps but they plan to put a chair lift in. Contractor is Dave Glynn. Ray Kappel/Republican
