Gov. Pillen Announces Retirement of NSP Superintendent Bolduc

LINCOLN, NE – Today, Governor Jim Pillen announced the retirement of Colonel John Bolduc, superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol (NSP), following a 38-year career in law enforcement. Col. Bolduc’s retirement is effective May 4, when he reaches the NSP mandatory retirement age of 60.

The following are ongoing cases in the Pawnee County District Court. The Pawnee Republican will report on them as they develop. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Pawnee County District Court was held January 21 in the Pawnee County Courthouse.

Larry Sitzman, of Table Rock said “when I looked out Tuesday night, I could see across the block, over there by the park. The pine trees (in Art Alderman’s old home, which is now owned by Kenny Edwards) were just going every which way. It was a vicious, twisting wind!

Beautiful Evening at Pawnderosa

Four fishermen and one family took advantage of the balmy weather to spend time at Pawnee City's pond and campground on Monday evening. The Nebraska Game & Parks stocked the Pawnerosa pond last month with Large Mouth Bass, Blue Gill and Channel Catfish.
