10 Years Ago – December 18, 2014Senior Hannah Davis said it seemed like forever before they announced the winner. They announced second place and then it came. Pawnee City, state one-act champions, in Class C2. It was the first time a team from Pawnee City has won the play title.

Lewiston FFA qualifies for State

On Monday, December 9th, thirty Lewiston FFA members participated in the District 1 leadership development events at Weeping Water High School. Lewiston entered students in 11 of the 13 events and qualified four entries to the state competitions in April.

Pawnee City resident Doreen Noahr is embroiled in a battle against cancer, but despite this, she manages to keep a positive attitude.Noahr was diagnosed with cancer in June 2023. During her treatments, her doctors discovered she was still continuing to lose blood but could not figure out why.
