VFW Announces Kick-off of Annual $30,000 Scholarship Competition

At the Pawnee City City Council meeting Monday, September 23, Tyler Keenan, an employee for JEO, a consulting firm, presented the council with a preliminary engineering report on the Pawnee City water system.This report evaluates the water system’s quality to determine what needs to be updated.

New Pumpkin Patch Opens Outside of Pawnee City

Pawnee City native, Laura Poskochil, returned from Austin, Texas recently to open a pumpkin patch just outside of Pawnee City. The Slim’s Pickins Pumpkin Patch opened September 7, and will be open every weekend until November 3rd.
