50 Years Ago February 14, 1974

Jana Marie Vetrovsky came into this world Sunday, February 10 and became Pawnee Memorial Hospital’s baby number one for 1974. The little lady weighed an even eight pounds and will be a welcome addition in the John and Jan Vetrovsky home here in Pawnee City.

Pawnee City Masonic Lodge #23 installs new officers

Pawnee City Masonic Lodge #23 met Saturday afternoon to install new officers. Charlie Hatfield was installed as Worshipful Master. Ed Raper had served in that position the last three years.

The Table Rock Community Club’s fourth annual Tea & History program went smoothly. It is a fundraiser for the Table Rock Theater and was held there. The Valentine’s Day themed setting was lovely as always, with fairy lights and swatches of gauze bunting strung about.
