Photo-Eight is Enough – These eight kindergarten students at Table Rock Elementary School began their school careers this year. The kindergartens are, Calvin Freeman, Cody Heiss, Erin Dyas, Brett Sharp, Courtney Schaardt, Reba Emory, Mikala deKoning, and Josh Bursovsky.

The Table Rock Public Library has added hours to when it is open. Stop in anytime Monday 8:30 a.m. to Noon; Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to Noon; Thursday 9:00 a.m. to Noon – 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Friday 8:30 a.m. to Noon or Saturday 9:00 a.m. to Noon - 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Chicken Dinner Every Wednesday

Blue Rivers Agency on Aging is serving the congregate chicken dinner at the Village Party Room every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m., 60 and over only $5. Under 60 is $7. Call the Table Rock Senior Center at 402839-2060 to reserve your meal.

JASON MAYER AT DuBOIS CZECH HALL ON OCTOBER 14

Pawnee City Public Schools Veteran’s Day Program

Program will be held Thursday, November 9th at 10 am Meal for veterans and their families to follow.

Burchard American Legion Auxiliary #156

The Auxiliary met Thursday afternoon September 21 at 1:30 in the Burchard Community Room. Michele Tegtmeier had the program with information and leaflets available to us, several samples there to hand out to schools and etc.

Pawnee City Hall is looking into the problem of railroad maintenance at 14th and B St. in Pawnee City. The issue came up at the City Council meeting Monday night. Sharon Schilling had written a letter of complaint to the city about the state of the railroad crossing.
