Protecting Access to Flex Fuel Vehicles

Earlier this year, the Biden administration proposed tailpipe emissions standards that would require up to two-thirds of new cars and trucks sold in the U.S. to be electric vehicles in just eight years. These standards threaten the availability of gas-powered vehicles needed in agriculture.

July brought a changing of the guard in the local Lions Club. Evelyn Springer, the new District Governor of District 38-N, Lions International, was present to install our incoming board for 2023-2025. Fellow Lion John Braisted accompanied her to the meeting.

FW Auxiliary Department Contest Winners

The VFW Auxiliary has many programs in their organization. One of those is Youth. The Youth Program itself has different contests, including “Illustrating America” through art and “Get Excited for the Red, White and Blue” that is the signing of the “Star Spangled Banner.
