Pawnee City School Board Fields 4 candidates

Election day is less than a week away. Pawnee City Public Schools has four candidates in the race. Two incumbents, and two challengers. One is running as a write in candidate. Hope Koester Incumbent Hope is a current member of the Pawnee City School board.

City to sell Mower

On Monday the City Council decided to put up for sealed bid a Exmark lawnmower with a bad motor. Councilmember Helms stated they would be lucky to get a good price in scrap and the mower would be a good project for someone over the winter.

Volunteers needed to help put up Avenue of Flags

The Avenue of Flags will be on display again on Veteran’s Day, Friday November 11. Volunteers are needed to put the flags up at 7 a.m. and taken down at 4:30 p.m.
