Two Spots up for city council with three candidates

This election season the City of Pawnee City has two positions open. Originally there were four candidates for office. However, with Vickie Zelenka filling the vacancy from Bruce Haughton, she withdrew her name from the ballot. We have two incumbents and one new candidate.

10 years ago October 12, 2012 There is a curfew for miniors in Table Rock. It is unlawful for any person 15 years of age or younger to be in a vehicle on any street, road, alley, park, or public place in the Village of Table rock after the hour of 10 p.m. and before the hour of 6 a.m.

Fairview Golf Club Receives Free Trees

Thanks to the Ten Free Trees program, an effort of the Nebraska Forest Service and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, The Fairview Golf Club received 10 trees for the Fairview Golf Course and Pawnee County Fairgrounds.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Donna Henson, a long term resident of Pawnee City, is a breast cancer survivor. She was 54 years old when diagnosed with stage 4 invasive breast cancer. Donna was only given 5 years to live. She is now 75 years old.
