Spring is just around the corner, and here at Pawnee County Memorial Hospital and Rural Health Clinic we are springing into action with the rollout of our Medicare Annual Wellness Initiative. Did you know as a Medicare patient you are entitled to a free Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) yearly.

How to prepare lawns, gardens for spring

This winter has been long! It is nice to look forward to spring weather and our gardens and landscapes. We can’t get out there quite yet, but we can begin to plan. Lawncare Spring is when we do a lot of lawncare. Overseeding should be done from mid-April through early May.

Twenty-four students and HTRS business teacher, Joan Dreier, participated in the virtual Peru State College Business Contest February 3-5, 2021. These students competed with students from twenty schools from Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri.
