DuBois Church Steeple Struck by Lightning During Thursday Storm

The United Methodist Church steeple in DuBois was struck by lightning during a severe thunderstorm that hit Pawnee County Thursday evening. No one was hurt in the strike, but the steeple was badly damaged.

Pawnee County Sheriff Braden Lang filed a lawsuit against Pawnee County on Wednesday, April 22. The complaint lists the board of commissioners as the respondent and alleges violations of the Open Meetings Act.
