Beautification in DuBois Continues

DuBois has another structure come down with the Dilapidated Structure Program Roy Chauza’s house came down after Roy died in June 2024. The family used the program that is facilitated by the State Bank of Table Rock and the DuBois Community Foundation to improve their community.

There’s a new Clerk Magistrate of the County Court in town. LaRita Weber was sworn into office by Judge Maschman on Thursday, October 12 at the Pawnee County Courthouse.

The UNICEF P a r a d e , Drive and Party will be this Saturday in Pawnee City. Kid’s it’s time to remind Mommy about your costume, this Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. is the witching hour.

100 Years Ago – October 22, 1925

Pawnee City seems destined to escape an epidemic of small pox, in spite o f the fact that a case developed in the high school week before last and was not diagnosed as small pox for several days.
