Pawnee City Indians Play Hampton Hawks

This week, the Pawnee City Indians traveled to the Hampton Hawks. It rained all the way to the game but cleared up long enough to let us get a beautiful night of football in. Pawnee jumped out to an early lead and held that lead until seconds before halftime.

Ag Education Students Compete in Area 6 Range Judging

Over 400 Agriculture Education students met in Thayer County Sept. 17th for the Nebraska Area 6 Range Judging Contest. Students were from 27 schools. The contest was conducted by the Thayer Co. NRCS office and surrounding NRCS personnel. The Thayer Co.

A retirement party for Bob Blecha of Pawnee City on Saturday, October 4, will mark the end of an era. The Bouncing Czechs are now history. He’s taking the band with him, passing the “book” of music to son Greg.
