As I write this devotion, it is not yet Thanksgiving. People are being swindled out of Thanksgiving. I’ll keep it apolitical and just say, the Covid virus is swindling us. But with or without virus, Christmas is often swindled away. Caught up in the worldly ways, too many of us make Christmas shallow, meaningless, just a reason to party and be selfabsorbed.
