•CELEBRATION – The small community of Steinauer doubled in size for their Independence Day celebration on Sunday, July 4th. They hosted a parade which included Byford and Gloria Schmit (pictured left) as the Grand Marshals.The Schmits were married on July 3rd, 1970 and have been an integral part of the Steinauer community throughout all of those years.
