Local biking enthusiast Vic Faesser was struck by a car while biking Thursday. He was westbound out of Pawnee City when he collided with a car driven by Sigrun Hoffman. He was hospitalized in Lincoln with multiple injuries. According to someone who spoke with him, the leg is not broken but the tendons will require surgery. He also injured ribs. He will also require skin grafts.
