Our son, Daniel, suffered traumatic brain injury as a result of repeated blast and concussion head injuries over 10 years while serving 3 tours in Afghanistan with the Special Operation Forces. Since he was deployed for long periods of time and lived away in different states, we did not realize the extent of the damage until Monday, August 1, when he died at our ranch.
