It was a family affair at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church on New Year’s Day when parishioners came prepared to remove the screws from 44 pews. As part of a major renovation of the church in Steinauer they will be refinished. Forty people, including Brad Bernadt and his son Deacon, accomplished the work in an hour and a half.
