The Nebraska Statewide Arboretum recommended that prairie grass seed be planted in the winter before it snowed. We had the perfect opportunity to do so on January 5th! This seed was hand-selected for this particular area. The seed was purchased in Iowa, just on the other side of the river, because that area is ecologically very similar to Steinauer.
