    Pawnee City native, Laura Poskochil, returned from Austin, Texas recently to open a pumpkin patch just outside of Pawnee City. The Slim’s Pickins Pumpkin Patch opened September 7, and will be open every weekend until November 3rd.When Poskochil moved back from Texas, she had a lot of ideas of different businesses to run on her parents farm.
