September 13, 1958 ~ May 24, 2025
We are saddened to announce the passing of Debby L Reynolds, who left us on May 24, 2025, at the age of 66. She was born on September 13, 1958 in Nebraska City to Jack and Shirley (Traut) Johnson and graduated from Plattsmouth High School. She worked various jobs in her life, including at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha which furthered her passion for animals. She recently retired from the Post Office in Pawnee City.
In her free time, Debby was a passionate fan of Royals baseball and NASCAR, her competitive spirit shining through in her unwavering support for her teams. An avid animal lover, she had a special place in her heart for cats, especially her beloved, Sissy and Sugar. She also enjoyed fishing.
Debby is survived by her mother, Shirley Johnson of Pawnee City; brother, Dan Johnson (Jennie Zvolanek); nephews, Jared Johnson (Kyleigh Swoboda) and Dalton Johnson (Avele Simons); uncle, Jim (Nicki) Johnson; and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Jack Johnson; and sisterin-
law, Amanda Johnson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 11:00am at the Pawnee Village with Clayton Lundstedt officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made to family’s choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
