Sharon Kay Cameron 81 passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Colonial Acres in Humboldt, Nebraska. Sharon was born to Ivan and Ella Mae (Haley) Schneider on February 17, 1944 in Pawnee City, Nebraska. She attended District 30 grade school and graduated from Marysville High School in 1962.
Sharon belonged to Balderson Boosters 4-H club. After high school she worked in Lincoln, then became employed at Marysville Mutual Insurance for 6 years. Sharon enjoyed babysitting for neighbors and friends. She loved being a member of the Red Hats Club in Summerfield and the local woman club. One of her joys in life was camping at Milford Lake in the RV and wintering in Texas. Sharon lived her entire life west of Summerfield, Kansas until she moved into Colonial Acres in Humboldt, Nebraska.
Sharon married Larry Cameron on May 8, 1966 at U.C.C., Marysville, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ivan and Ella Mae Schneider, niece Kara Sejkora, parents in laws Glen and Selma Cameron, nephew Mark Cameron and wife Laura Cameron, sister-in-law Marie (Cameron) Kerl and her husband Henry, brother-in-law and wife J.D. Cameron and Jackie.

Sharon is survived by her husband Larry Cameron of Humboldt, Ne brother Ronald Schneider ( Linda) of Beatie, KS, sisters Bonnie (Allen) Stewart, of Weston, MO, Linda Sejkora ( Brad) of Burchard, Ne, Nephews and nieces, Scott (Sarah) Schneider, of Hays, KS, Jamie (Ryan) Tjaden of Marysville, KS, Haley (Kevin) Crome of Marysville, KS, Brian (Paula) House of Eufaula, Ok, Jason (Makayla) Sejkora of Escelsior Springs, MO, Erica (Lee) Twarling of Lake Villa, IL, Steve (Renee) Cameron of Summerfield, KS, Brad (Christie) Cameron of Summerfield, KS, Wanda (David) Brizendine of Louisburg, KS, Jerry (Ann) Kerl of Newton, KS, Tim (Angela) Kerl of Lakeville, MN, Brian Kerl of Omaha, NE, numerous great nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.
Services 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska. Pastor Janelle Knowles officiating.
