Lorraine Marie Sandusky

Lorraine Marie Sandusky, 93 years old, passed Friday, April 29, 2022. Born on December 6, 1928 to Walter and Virginia Moser of Hickman, NE. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Sandusky. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Barnes (David); Susan Siebler (Brad); Tim Sandusky (Barb); and Colleen Maga?a; grandchildren Casey Sandusky; Spenser Sandusky (Erin McBride); Cruz Sandusky (Terra); Ariane Maga?a and Asher Maga?a.

Lorraine graduated from Hickman High School and enrolled in Lincoln School of Commerce. Lorraine met her husband, Roger, while working at State Farm Insurance in Lincoln, NE. The couple moved to Pawnee City where Lorraine worked part-time at the Pawnee County Treasurer’s Office and Pawnee County Bank. They also lived in Bridgeport, NE where Lorraine worked part-time at the Presbyterian Church and nursing home, and Tecumseh, NE where they managed the Towne and Country Motel. The couple retired in Lincoln, NE where they helped raise three of their grandsons.

Lorraine was an active member of the church and TOPS club. She had a lifelong love of music and had a beautiful voice that she shared by singing in church choirs. Lorraine was a faithful blood donor and donated over 15 gallons of blood in her lifetime. She was an avid gardener, made the best cinnamon rolls, and loved her many pets.
