October 7, 1976 ~ January 15, 2022

A loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend are the things mike loved most in life. He spent his days laughing, working, playing hard, always joking around, anything Mike did he had a smile. Always lending a helping hand. Mike was taken from us too soon.

He was relieved of his earthly duties on January 15, 2022 due to injuries he sustained in a car accident.

Mike was born to Vernon McClintock and Lois (Berkheimer) Gamel on October 7, 1976 in Pawnee City, Nebraska.

Mike did accomplish a lot in his life. While growing up he spent a lot of time at the family farm, where he learned a number of things. He learned how to drive tractors, drive cars, tend to cows, Mike was overall a genuine person to all he met.

As Mike grew older and was in school he was involved in a lot of different activities, which would include football, tack, cross country, he excelled at all. He still has a State record set at PCHS in track. Seemed everytime he would go to a meet, he would bring back tons of medals. Mike was quite the person, friend to have.

He was always a whoot to be aroung. He participated in every activity there was at school and was good at it all. Mike graduated with the class of 1995 from Pawnee City.

Mike was a caring person who loved to have fun and to live in the moment. After graduating Mike lived in Beatrice NE, Falls City NE, and Pawnee City NE, where he resided with family the last few years of his life.

During his stay in Falls City he became a volunteer fire fighter with the department where he served several years. He enjoyed being a part of the fire department crew and took pride.

Also while living in Falls City Mike helped raise a young daughter, to which he is very proud of, and all her accomplishments. He looked forward to seeing his daughter graduate high school, college, marriage and life endeavors. Mike was a very proud dad.

Mike enjoyed life to the fullest, he lived a care free life always laughing and having fun. He was the joker of the family from pulling pranks, making you laugh until you cried. Everytime you would see Mike he always had a smile. His smile was contagious and would light up any room. Same goes for his laugh.

Mike had a lot of likes and hobbies, camping, fishing, riding his four wheeler were his favorite things to do. Along with spending time with his family.

Even though Mike has finished his earthly duties here, his memory will live on in each of us that knew and loved Mike. Life here on earth is no longer the same with Mike gone, but it is up to us to live on for Mike and live life to the fullest -- full throttle ahead.

Since Mike is a giving kind of guy he became an organ donor for his final good-bye here on earth. Mike will live on in others and do great things. Mike was able to save over a hundred lives with being an organ donor.
