Clay Center, NE, resident Pat J. Diehm-Hoffman, 77, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Mary Lanning Health Care in Hastings, NE.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Clay Center Christian Church with Pastor Arick Johanson officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at a later date. In honoring her wish to be cremated, there will not be a visitation or viewing.

Pat J Diehm was born December 9, 1948, in Casper, WY, to Paul Wayne and Pearl Marolyn (Wright) Diehm. She received her education at Table Rock, Nebraska Public School. She married Thomas Franklin Bevard in 1970 in Cozad, NE. To this union was born one child, Traci Paige. This marriage ended in 1976; she then married Randall Chrysler in 1980 and divorced in 1988. Her final marriage to Edward Karl Hoffman on September 6, 2003, brought with it his daughters, Heather Ray, who lived with them, while Falon and Ashley lived with their mother. She lived her life as a bookkeeper, starting at the age of 14 for her grandpa’s service station. Pat sang and loved music all her life, but her greatest love was her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Traci (Michael) Haley and Heather Hoffman both of Omaha NE; brother, Perry James (Sheila) Diehm of Bethany Ok; sister, Peggy Jane (William) Chessmore of Clay Center, NE; grandchildren, Blake; Danielle; Brittany; Wayne; Desiree; Matthew; Joshua; Jimmie; thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie; parents, Wayne and Pearl; siblings, Paul John Diehm and Pamela Jo Diehm; niece, Karina Chessmore and great nephew, Kiandon Kirk.
