Lewiston’s Homecoming heartbreak decided by one point

LEWISTON - “Heart” was the word used most while watching Lewiston’s Homecoming football game against the Meridian Mustangs on Friday night, October 1st. The Tigers came up just one point and one touchdown shy of the Homecoming victory as they had a TD called back on a penalty late in the game.

HTRS faces FCSH on their home turf

FALLS CITY - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titan football team made a tough trek to Falls City on Friday night, October 1st to take on perennial powerhouse Sacred Heart on their home field. The Titans got down 6-38 right away in the game and trailed 6-52 at the half.

PAWNEE CITY - The Pawnee City Indians continued their winning ways on Friday night, October 1st as they completely dominated the Deshler Dragons, 50-6, in front of a Homecoming crowd.

Lady Indians push JCC to four sets

TECUMSEH - The Pawnee City Lady Indians went up against the Johnson County Central Lady Thunderbirds on Thursday, September 30th in a best three out of five set match. While the Lady Indians lost the first two sets, 6-25 and 15- 25, they battled back to win the third set by a 25-19 count.

Lady Titans give good effort against Fairbury

HUMBOLDT - They gave a valiant effort, but the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans fell to the Fairbury Lady Jeffs on Tuesday night in three contested sets, 20-25, 20-25, 21-25.

HUMBOLDT - A series of big plays right before halftime proved to be the downfall of the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans as they hosted the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds on Friday night, September 24th for Homecoming.

Pawnee City gets back on winning track against Meridian

MERIDIAN - The Pawnee City Indians piled the points on early and often in their road game last Thursday night, September 23rd against Meridian. P.C. led 30-7 after the 1st period and went up 50-13 by halftime. They outscored Meridian 27-16 in the second half to cruise to the 77-29 victory.

Lady Titans pick up two more wins

HUMBOLDT, OMAHA - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans played three games last week and won two of the three matches. HTRS vs. Auburn The Lady Titans opened the week against Auburn on Tuesday, September 21st, but lost in three close sets, 22-25, 21-25, 18-25.
