Lewiston runs into red hot Red Cloud in season opener

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Tigers hosted the Red Cloud Warriors in their home season opener on Friday night, September 3rd, but lost by a 12-67 score against a very talented six-man squad.

FALLS CITY - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans split games with JCC and Falls City on Thursday, September 2nd. HTRS vs. JCC The Lady Titans went up against the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds and won in three hard-fought sets, 25- 22, 21-25, 25-21.

Injuries, illness hamper P.C. in first Cross Country meet

TECUMSEH - The Pawnee City Cross Country team participated at the Johnson County Central Invitational on Friday, September 3rd, but were missing two of their three members due to illness and injury.

HTRS outlasts Griffins 52-44

HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans got their second win of the season as they held on to defeat the Diller/Odell Griffins on Friday night, September 3rd by a 52-44 score. HTRS led 6-0 after a 34 yd. pass from Brandt Leech to Nic Knudson early in the game.

Pawnee City blasts Dorchester in opener

PAWNEE CITY - The Pawnee City Indians left little doubt who would be the victor after their home season opener against Dorchester on Friday, September 3rd. The Indians jumped out to a 44-8 lead in the 1st quarter and never looked back as they won the game by a huge 76-16 count.
