Untimely turnovers continue to hurt P.C.

PAWNEE CITY - Turnovers continued to be a problem for the Pawnee City Indians as they committed too many to recover from in their game against the Friend Bulldogs on Friday night, January 29th. P.C.

Slow start hurts HTRS against FCSH Irish

HUMBOLDT - The first quarter was the downfall for the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans in their re-scheduled game against the Falls City Sacred Heart Irish on Friday, January 29th. The Titans got behind by an overwhelming 4-17 count in the 1st quarter against FCSH and never recovered.

Jets control 2nd half against Lewiston boys

STERLING - The Lewiston Tigers and the Sterling Jets took to the floor on Friday night, January 29th and had a close game in the first half. Sterling only led Lewiston 15-12 after the 1st period and 26-22 at the halftime break.

Lady Tigers take T-C to final period

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Lady Tigers hosted Tri-County on Thursday, January 28th and went four strong quarters against the visiting Lady Trojans. After the 1st period, both teams were tied at 8-8 and then Lewiston carried a slight 17-16 lead into the halftime break.

Second half scoring lifts Sterling over P.C.

STERLING - The Pawnee City Indians played Sterling in a rescheduled game on Thursday, January 28th and led for the first half of the game. Both teams scored 11 points in the 1st quarter then Pawnee City took an 18-14 advantage heading into halftime.

Turnovers plague Pawnee City vs. FCSH

PAWNEE CITY - The turnover bug bit the Pawnee City Indians hard on Friday night, January 22nd as they hosted the Falls City Sacred Heart Irish. The Indians first five possessions ended in turnovers against the fiesty FCSH Irish as their guests built a quick 10-0 lead on them.

Lady Indians shut down by Irish defense

PAWNEE CITY - The Pawnee City Lady Indians couldn’t get their shots to fall against the Falls City Sacred Heart Lady Irish on Friday night, January 22nd. Pawnee City was shut out of the 1st quarter scoring and only managed one bucket in the 2nd period as they lost by a 10-59 final count.

HTRS uses 2nd quarter scoring to upend P.C.

HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans and the Pawnee City Indians took the floor against each other on Tuesday, January 19th. The Pawnee City Indians took a 12-10 lead after the 1st period, but HTRS went on a 14-4 scoring run in the 2nd quarter to go ahead 24-16 at the half.

Lewiston Tigers have tough week with CVA, NCL

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Tigers suffered two losses last week against College View Academy and Nebraska City Lourdes. Lewiston vs. CVA The Tigers hosted College View Academy in a re-scheduled game on Monday, January 18th.

LEWISTON, JOHNSON - The Lewiston Lady Tigers had one win and one loss in the early part of last week. Lewiston vs. CVA The Lady Tigers hosted College View Academy in their re-scheduled game on Monday, January 18th. Lewiston was ahead 9-3 after the 1st period and carried a 19-6 lead into the half.
