Lewiston Tigers emerge victorious after 4th quarter scare

LEWISTON - It was a little “touch and go” to start the 4th quarter off, but the Lewiston Tigers pulled everything together in the end to defeat Cedar Bluffs 46-31 on Friday, January 8th.

Lewiston holds off late charge by C.B.

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Lady Tigers built just enough of a lead in the first half that they were able to hold off a late charge by Cedar Bluffs on Friday night, January 8th. Lewiston jumped out to an early lead on Cedar Bluffs as Carleigh Weyers banked in a trey to open the scoring and C.B.

Pawnee City girls fall to Falcons in low-scoring game

ADAMS - The Pawnee City Lady Indians traveled to Freeman on Friday night, January 8th, but lost to the Lady Falcons by a low-scoring 19-33 count. The Lady Indians only connected on 8/30 field goals and only went to the line for 3/5 freethrows.

HTRS Titans rally in 2nd half against Sterling

STERLING - The second half scoring was vital to the Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans on Friday night, January 8th when they took on the Sterling Jets on their home court. HTRS led 11-6 after the 1st period, but found themselves trailing 23-27 at the half.

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Lady Tigers played three games at home last week with two of them being against Meridian and Omaha Christian Academy. Lewiston vs. Meridian Lewiston hosted Meridian on Tuesday night, January 5th, but couldn’t quite pull off the win.

WEEPING WATER - The Lewiston Tigers participated in the Weeping Water Holiday Tournament on Monday and Wednesday last week, but lost to both of their opponents. Lewiston vs. Falls City Lewiston went up against Falls City in the first round on Monday, December 28th where they lost by a 29-47 score.
