HTRS loses the battle of Titans

HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer football team played host to Thayer Central on Friday night, September 11th in a battle of the Titans. HTRS tried to hang with their visitors early in the game, but trailed 18-26 after the 1st quarter.

Pawnee City CC places in top 20 in HS and J-H

FAIRBURY - The Pawnee City Cross Country teams, both High School and Junior High placed in the top 20 at the Fairbury Invitational which was held on Thursday, September 10th. According to Head Coach Candy Sejkora, the two teams had a good day of having individuals place in the top 20.

Pawnee City Indians open 6-man football season at Dorchester

DORCHESTER - The Pawnee City Indian football squad embarked on their new 6-man football season on Friday, September 4th at Dorchester. Even though the Indians led 12-8 after the first quarter, their hosts went on a 24-7 run to end the half and carried a 32-19 lead into the halftime break.

TECUMSEH - The Pawnee City Cross Country team trekked to Tecumseh for the Johnson County Central Cross Country Invitational on Friday, September 4th and had a beautiful morning for running. P.C.’s Emily Lytle placed the highest for the team with a 9th place finish for the girls and a time of 23:36.

Red Cloud takes down Lewiston Tigers 56-0

RED CLOUD - The Lewiston Tigers had a tough opening road game at Red Cloud on Friday, September 4th as they were shut out 56-0. Red Cloud jumped out to an early 21-0 lead and then improved that lead to 42-0 by the halftime break.

Pawnee City Lady Indians win consolation bracket at Freeman

ADAMS - The Pawnee City Lady Indians played in the Freeman Invitational from Thursday-Saturday, September 3rd-5th and ended up in the consolation bracket after their first few games. They went on to win the consolation bracket over Deshler and Elmwood-Murdock. Pawnee City vs.

HTRS Lady Titans defeat Lewiston Lady Tigers in three sets

HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans and the Lewiston Lady Tigers went head to head on Tuesday, September 1st, but the Lady Titans came out the victor 3-0 in a best of five sets.
