Six minute drought hampers Lewiston against Sterling in 2nd half

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Tigers seemingly had the upper hand in the first half against Sterling on Friday, January 26th, but a let-down in the second half led to a 47-57 loss to the Sterling Jets.

Pawnee City uses slow start by Lewiston to their advantage

LEWISTON - The Lewiston Tigers and the Pawnee City Indians took the court against each other on Tuesday, January 23rd, but it was Pawnee City who got off to the better start in the game. The Indians opened the game on a 17-2 run and never looked back.

LEWISTON - The first half deficit was just too much for the Lewiston Lady Tigers to overcome against Sterling on Friday night, January 26th.

P.C. girls keep constant barrage on Lewiston

LEWISTON - The Pawnee City Lady Indians started strong and kept a constant barrage on the Lewiston Lady Tigers on Tuesday, January 23rd. Despite the fact that both teams only connected on 5/29 freethrows combined in the contest, Pawnee City came out the victor by a 56-20 score.

Lady Titans travel across state border for victory

TARKIO/FAIRFAX, MO. - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Lady Titans traveled across the state border to take on East Atchison (Tarkio/Fairfax), Mo. on Thursday, January 25th and won by a 55-41 count.

Two P.C. wrestlers finish in 3rd place

RED CLOUD - The Pawnee City Wrestling team participated in the Warcat Invitational on Saturday, January 27th. Pawnee City’s Dylan Layne placed 3rd in his 190 lb. division and the Lady Indians also had Kaylee Turnbull finish 3rd in the girls’ 105 lb. division. All results are as follows.

LHS Tigers have scoring droughts against J-B, NCL

LEWISTON, NEBRASKA CITY - The Lewiston Tigers suffered some scoring slumps against both Johnson-Brock and Nebraska City Lourdes in their losses to the Class D-1 teams last week. The Tigers also suffered in the 3-point shooting department as they went 3/18 against J-B and 3/21 against NCL.

HTRS Titans run into red-hot Class C-2 JCC

HUMBOLDT - The Humboldt Table Rock Steinauer Titans went up against a talented Class C-2 Johnson County Central Thunderbird team on Thursday, January 18th. JCC had won their previous three games coming into the contest and won by a 76-36 score over the Titans.
