PAWNEE CITY - The Fairview Golf Men’s League has been busy the past few weeks following the County Fair and are looking forward to the Labor Day Tournament in September.

Pawnee City School Board Member resigns

Pawnee City Public School’s board member John Hunzeker resigned at the August 8th school board meeting. The School board will decide how to procede with the vacancies in upcoming meetings.

Maintenance Work Will Begin on N-62, Near Elk Creek

August 15, 2022 (Lincoln, Neb.) — Weather permitting, an armor coat project will begin August 22 on N-62, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Armor coating is an application of an asphalt binder to a roadway surface followed by an aggregate.

PAWNEE CITY - The Fairview Golf Men’s League has been busy the past few weeks including the annual Independence Day Tournament. Independence Day Tourney The 2022 Fairview Golf Independence Day Tournament was held on Monday, July 4th with 11 teams in competition in the four-person scramble.

Visiting with Nebraskans

While visiting Columbus recently, I was asked by a member of the press what was my favorite part of my time in the area. I explained that the truth is visiting with Nebraskans is one of the best parts of my job.
