Ryan Sommerhalder had his eye on one cow, Horn.
By Dani Niss’s account, it was the ugliest cow owned by her late husband Bryce. She chuckles talking about how it was his favorite anyway. It was called Horn because it only had one horn. It was a good mom for his herd.
Sommerhalder, ring man at the Auction for the Bryce Niss family at 77 Livestock in Beatrice Thursday, made sure he bought Horn.
