This recipe is from Laura Lipp, one of my mother's friends, and where I get my name. 3 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or oleo 1 3/4 cup syrup, I prefer dark 2 cup cream 2 tablespoon vanilla Combine sugar. butter, syrup and 1 cup cream in heavy sauce pan.
