The Pawnee City City Council purchased a mini excavator for $29,600 at its regular Monday night meeting.
They will get a 14,000-pound trailer for it for an extra $2,500. Ric Helms was the Councilman heading this project.
The vote was 3-1 with John Dahlgren voting against. Voting for it were Helms, Susan Eisenhauer and Vickie Zelenka.
