Pawnee County Deputy Josh Townend has started his 14-week training at the Nebraska Law Enforcment Training Academy in Grand Island.
He started May 17 and graduates Aug. 21.
Passing the training means he will be certified. He has already been working making a lot of stops and doing his job well, according to what the paper has heard.
