Part 4:“Pappa, the barn is on fire!”
Last week: Taylor & Beck did well. They bought an elegant new carriage, they bought a new bus (named Lulu). Will Taylor got a bug to be a storekeeper and so built a new store at the southeast corner of Houston and Luzerne, and Johnny Beck continued with the livery business.
Beck’s Livery & Feed Stable operated on our Lot 11 of Block 27 from 1894 to 1907.
