The Masonic Lodge of Pawnee City will donate $25,000 to the new fire station project.
The news was given to the City Council Monday by Mayor Charlie Hatfield, who is a member of the Lodge. The money is for the interior of the fire station. A plaque for the Lodge will likely be put in the interior at the new fire station.
