Part 3 – Good cooking

Previously: The grand Hotel Murphy, its destruction by fire, and the raising of a brick building first called the Two Way Inn. Under new owner C. W. Slaughter, it becomes the Reno Inn, and has a bit of a rowdy reputation. Then it passes to others and becomes a place of local legend.

I hardly know where to begin! But let’s start with its neighbor, the railroad.
